British cyclist Bradley Wiggins didn't have much of a chance to celebrate his Tour de France triumph last month with the London Olympics right around the corner.

You can bet he's going to let his hair down after winning time trial gold. Or, should we say, his sideburns?

Wiggins blistered a 27-mile course south of London on Wednesday to beat Germany's Tony Martin and the rest of the men's field by 42 seconds. Wiggo's performance was cheered on by thousands of fans lining the course, and quickly earned praise from Prime Minister David Cameron.

"I'm certainly going to go get a bit drunk tonight, but I think I've earned it," Wiggins said. His drink of choice? A vodka tonic.
