Someone close to Ryan Lochte is carrying a torch for the U.S. swimmer.

 

Grandma finally has something to cheer about. Lochte made his 2016 Olympic debut during the preliminaries of the men's 4x200-meter freestyle relay on Tuesday. 

Taking the anchor leg, Lochte finished off an easy victory in the heat and the second-fastest time overall, sending the Americans into the evening final as one of the favorites for gold.
