After earning an invitation to the Rio Games with her full-throated support of Team USA, actress and comic Leslie Jones has landed and is reporting for duty.

In the video Jones says she is ready for some "epicnessness" now that she is on site.

Jones will start joining NBC's coverage of the games on Friday. After bombarding her 480,000 Twitter followers with posts of her yelling at the television while watching the games, NBC Olympics Executive Producer Jim Bell invited her to join the team.

NBC says Jones will attend Olympic events, meet athletes and talk about the Games on the air and online.

Jones is a cast member on "SNL" and starred in the "Ghostbusters" reboot with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon.
