RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- Comedian and Olympics uber-fan Leslie Jones was a one-woman cheering section for the American women at Friday night's beach volleyball match.

Jones, who live tweeted the first week of the Olympics before NBC brought her to Rio, was draped in red, white and blue with an American flag scarf draped around her neck. She was intense as she cheered every point for Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross.

The star of "Saturday Night Live" and the new "Ghostbusters" was not messing around, either. When the venue's camera crew tried to speak to her during a break, she started a loud chant of "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!" with a blue megaphone. She then directed her focus to the beach and yelled, "Let's go Kerri! Let's go April!"

Jones also took time to post a few of her tweets during the match.
