The Ravens are big in Baltimore. So is native son Michael Phelps.
True to their word, and as they've done at times in the past, the Baltimore Ravens showed Phelps' Olympic race on their stadium screens Thursday night _ doing it to appease the fans who showed up for their preseason win over the Carolina Panthers, some of whom were possibly torn about either going to the game or staying home to watch the most decorated Olympian ever.

Phelps won the 200-meter individual medley for the fourth consecutive Olympics, much to the delight of the Ravens' faithful. In his postgame news conference, Ravens coach John Harbaugh made sure to congratulate Phelps as well.
And how's this for karma, perhaps?
Phelps now has 22 gold medals. And the Ravens scored 22 points on Thursday night, beating the Panthers by three.
