The certain shirtless flagbearer who became an unexpected sensation during the Rio Games opening ceremony is hinting that he might have something special planned for the closing celebrations.

Pita Taufatofua carried Tonga's flag at the opening ceremony wearing a traditional mat around his waist and with his bare chest oiled and shining.

The taekwondo competitor became a hit online and even made an appearance on NBC's "Today" _ where hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager actually rubbed oil on his upper body.

On Saturday, Taufatofua said his closing ceremony surprise will be quick.

"Don't blink or you'll miss it," he warned.

Tautfatofua lost his chance for a gold medal on Saturday in the men's taekwondo heavyweight division.

Taufatofua, who is ranked 157th in the world, had an unfortunate pairing in the first round with the division's No. 2 seed, Sajjad Mardani of Iran. Mardani demolished Taufatofua 16-1 amid fans chanting "Tonga!" in the arena.
