One of Team GB's biggest fans is Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren.

She was wearing the national colors Thursday and rejoicing in the home team's performances.

"It's been wonderful," said the actress who also appears in a short video played at the velodrome and main stadium to quieten the crowd before a race begins.
