The 100-meter semifinals have just been run, and at London's biggest Jamaican parties the bets and rum are flying over who's going to win the final tonight — Usain Bolt or Yohan Blake. Often, the bet IS rum. "My man Blake win, you owe me 10 shots!" Courtney Morgan shouted to his friend at the Puma Yard, a 2-week party celebrating of all things Jamaican inside the grounds of a former East End brewery. It's one of several official rallying points for Jamaicans and Ja-fakins — wanna-bes hoping to soak up Sunday night's expected Olympic domination by Jamaica's top two sprinters. A crowd of more than 1,000 watching live footage of the three semifinals cheered wildly as Bolt, pre-race, clowned for the cameras. After he appeared to win in a half-jog, many declared Morgan's rum-based bet foolish in the extreme. "You be careful or you'll be buying me drinks 'til the next Olympics, man!" said his friend Marley Campbell, shouting to be heard over the beat of a live reggae band, Nobody was giving a chance to the United States' top two finalists, Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay. Perhaps the bronze — but only if Jamaica's third-ranked sprinter, Asafa Powell, doesn't run away with that, too. — Shawn Pogatchnik — Twitter http://twitter.com/ShawnPogatchnik ___ EDITOR'S NOTE — "Eyes on London" shows you the Olympics through the eyes of Associated Press journalists across the 2012 Olympic city and around the world.
