EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Emma Coburn won her second straight national title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday, earning her a spot on the U.S. Olympic team.
Coburn finished in 9 minutes, 32.78 seconds at the U.S. track trials at Hayward Field. Runner-up Bridget Franek finished in 9:35.62, and Shalaya Kipp was third in 9:35.73 for the other two spots on the team for the London Games.
