It just hasn't been a winning Olympics for the world's top-ranked men's tennis player. Novak Djokovic was eliminated from both singles and doubles in the early rounds, but he's sticking around Rio.

On Wednesday, he attended the men's basketball game between France and his native Serbia, taking a selfie with doubles partner Nenad Zimonjic and retired French tennis player Mary Pierce.

Then Serbia lost to France 76-75 on Tony Parker's late shot.

Djokovic won't play again until the U.S. Open, which starts Aug. 29. He cited a sore left wrist Wednesday in pulling out of the hard-court tuneup in Cincinnati.

The 12-time major champion did get to hang out with some gold medalists.
