LONDON (AP) — China won the Olympic gold medal in team epee, beating South Korea 39-25 Saturday. Although China got gold, South Korean fencer Shin A-lam finally got a medal after missing out on one in the individual competition five days ago. Shin lost a disputed semifinal against Germany's Britta Heidemann on Monday and then sat crying on the strip for an hour until the judges rejected an appeal by her team. The United States edged Russia 31-30 in extra time to take bronze for its first fencing medal at the London Olympics.
