Jamaica took gold, silver and bronze, and Bolt only beat countryman Yohan Blake by 0.12 seconds _ but enough for a second straight Olympic 200 title.

No post-London letdown for Bolt. Fellow Jamaican Warren Weir was a strong second, but the title remained in Bolt's hands.

It was the showdown everyone wanted: Bolt vs. Justin Gatlin in the final. And it was the result most expected: Bolt, still the master of the 200. He ran 19.55, Gatlin ran 19.74.
