It wasn't long after her gold medal victory in judo in Brazil that American Kayla Harrison received some well wishes from a famous friend.
MMA superstar Ronda Rousey took to Instagram and Twitter to congratulate the American judoka.

Congrats to @judo_kayla winning her second Olympic gold medal in judo today

Rousey is a former Olympian in judo herself, having competed in the 2004 Athens Games as a 17 year old and winning bronze four years later in Beijing. She then made the transition to mixed-martial arts and is now one of the biggest names in the sport.
Harrison is now deciding herself on whether to make a similar move.
