Tianna Bartoletta's trip to the Olympics was scripted down to the very last detail.
But suddenly, she's dealing with something nobody could've expected. 
The long jump gold medalist had all her competition-day routines written down on laminated cards that she took to the track every day. Check it out: 
But there was no script for the relay rerun she and her teammates ran into after Thursday morning's heats. 
Well, now there is. 
Bartoletta's husband, John, worked out a game plan on the fly after the Americans protested their disqualification and were ordered back to the track for Thursday night, where they'll run alone and try to qualify by beating China's time of 42.70 seconds. The rerun comes 20 minutes before Bartoletta receives her gold medal. Here it is:
