The U.S. women have noticed that Leslie Jones, star of "SNL'' and "Ghostbusters,'' has been making the rounds at the Rio Games the past few days. The Americans play Japan in the quarterfinals Tuesday in the next step of their quest for a sixth straight gold medal, and they sent a message to the comedien and actress Monday asking her to come check them out.

It didn't take Jones long to hear about the social media shout-out and request. She quickly took to Twitter to respond. Unfortunately, for the U.S. team, Jones is leaving Brazil on Tuesday. She told the women in a video that she didn't think they had needed her in attendance since they've been dominating opponents.

Jones wrapped up the video with a request of her own: She wants to see one of the women dunk before the Rio Games are over.
