Coming from the same state as the vice president of the United States has its privileges. And when playing in the 2016 Olympics, the occasional shout-out.
Vice President Joe Biden wrote a tweet of support for United States guard Elena Delle Donne _ a fellow native of Delaware _ on Sunday as the U.S. women began their quest for a sixth straight gold medal in basketball.
The United States routed Senegal 121-56 in their Olympic opener Sunday. Delle Donne scored 11 points, handed out six assists and had three rebounds.
